A graduate of Trinity College, Hartford, CT, Nancy began her painting career in the mid-eighties, painting in oils in the field of Decorative Arts. After several years, feeling the need for a looser painting medium, she moved into watercolors, studying with Dedham artist Nancy Howell. Her wonderful spirit and method of teaching inspired what would become a passion for watercolor painting. Subsequently, Nancy has studied with George Shed,  portrait painter Robert Cormier, Australian painter Alvaro Castagnet, and Paul George of Gloucester.  In addition, she  teaches adult watercolor classes during the school year.   Nancy is a member of the Copley Society of Boston where she taught classes this Fall,  an Artist Member of the Cape Cod Art Assoc., and a member of the Duxbury Art Assoc.   Her work has also been displayed at Healthfit in Needham, MA for several years, as well as St. Dunstan's Church in Dover, MA and various other locations throughout the state.   Nancy resides in Needham, and can be reached by e-mail at nbmwalton@comcast.net.
