Description: Cape Ann has been an artist's colony since the late 1800's. It is located on the northern tip of Massachusetts and is approximately four and half-hours by car from northern New Jersey. Artists including Winslow Homer, Frank Duveneck and Edward Hopper have all painted this historic cape. Cape Ann has a spectacular rocky shoreline, working harbors, recreational marinas, charming historic homes, quaint street scenes, shops, art galleries, excellent seafood, and of course, enough subject to paint for a lifetime.
